In July of 1991 D & S Tow, Inc. bought our first tow truck. That slide bed truck was used to help service our then wrecking yard. We quickly grew into our current fleet of over 30 late model car carriers, wrecker tow trucks and service trucks.
In November 2013 we became the primary AAA provider in the Carson City, NV territory to further our service to the community!
With over 35 years in the automotive industry, running an auto body shop, a wrecking yard, an insurance salvage pool, an auction company and a used auto dealership, we have found that ultimately we had one thing to sell. . . OUR SERVICE!
We have seen many changes to our industry over the years, however one thing always remains the same here at D & S Tow, Inc.

The ‘S’ in D & S Tow
That’s me! A Hug High graduate and proud Northern Nevadan since third grade. I’m a mother of two, stepmother of three, and a devoted Dodgers fan. Some might say it’s unusual for a woman to own a towing company—and they’d be right—but it’s what I know and love, so I’m all in.
The full story is that my husband and I built D & S Tow together, along with several other automotive businesses. In 2009, as we were approaching our planned exit, the economy took a downturn—and I lost my “D” to cancer. At that moment, I faced a choice: to continue or not...I chose to continue, rebuild, and grow D & S Tow into the company it is today—one built on integrity and trust, where every decision is made in the best interest of the business.
With more than 37 years of history behind us, we have plenty to be proud of—and an exciting future ahead.
Todd Libra – General Manager
Todd has been part of the D & S Tow family for over six years, starting as a part-time driver at our Truckee location before moving into the role of Business Development Manager and now serving as General Manager. He brings 24 years of leadership experience from Shell Oil Company (formerly Pennzoil Products Co.) and holds a BASc in Organizational Leadership and business.
A proud Reno resident, Todd has been married to his wife Mary for over 40 years. They have one daughter and two grandchildren. When he’s not leading the team, Todd enjoys camping, hunting, exploring Nevada’s great outdoors, and spending time with his ever-present dogs..
Jeramiah Rounsaville – Lead Driver / Operations
Jeramiah began his career at D & S Tow nearly four years ago as a driver, quickly moving up to Lead Driver at our AAA service location. Today, he oversees all drivers and operations, drawing on nine years of prior experience in manufacturing, trucking, and towing in Idaho, where he served on the leadership team.
As part of the new generation of D & S Tow, Jeramiah brings fresh ideas, innovative approaches, and a passion for doing things differently. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, camping, all things Ford, and spending time with his wife Emily and their 2 daughters..
